Pricing

The normal fee is $175 for a 45-50 minute telemedicine session. EMDR telemedicine sessions are $250 for 75 minutes. Fees are paid through PayPal/Venmo/Zelle at the time of the session.

Lois is not a provider for any insurance companies, however her practice management software can submit the claim form for Clients. 

Prices are based on an initial meeting and follow up meetings for intermediate, full and extended visits.

Lois Zsarnay, LMFT, CEDS, CCTP, EMDR, BCPC, RD Background and Certifications

Graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Buffalo State University, Lois has been a Registered Dietitian since 1982. She completed her internship in the United States Air Force in Washington, DC, and achieved her Masters degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University in May 1998 and her Marriage, Family Therapy degree in December 2002. She is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR Trained Therapist.

Lois provides medical nutrition therapy to individuals and groups covering an array of nutrition and health topics. Additionally, she has been an instructor at both Oxnard and Ventura Community Colleges, and University of California at Santa Barbara Extension teaching Addiction classes as well as classes in Nutrition and Nutrition in Addictions Eating Disorders.

Lois is an active participant in a variety of local organizations which have included: Board of Directors President of the Central Ventura County Unit of the American Cancer Society, a member of the Medical Advisory Board of the Pierpont Racquet Club, and a member of the Ventura County Unit of the American Heart Association’s Women and Heart Disease committee. She has been a workshop presenter for Oxnard Women’s Day; California Lutheran University Creative Options; Mom and Kids Recovery Center; Reaching out to Mom and Kids; American Association of University Women; Southern California Women for Understanding; Brighter Horizons; Career Days; and The Oaks at Ojai.
